Published by Unknown on Tuesday, 4 March 2014  |

I Imagined that yesterday  you were giving birth to your beautiful new baby boy or girl.  Now, in just a flurry, they are knee to deep in their teenage years, you know starting to date, developing their own identity aahhh, Just on the brink of college and now are getting their driver’s license.

This is a very big step for any teenager and this one always sends many parents into a spiral of fear and worry.  Like Will my child be safe?  Should we buy him or her a new car?  How can/ will I monitor him/her now that he/she has the gotten ability to go as he/she pleases?  These are just a few of the myriad of those  questions which may arise when a child has gotten a driver’s license.

Due to these concerns about car insurance will further deepen the stress. Like ,How can we afford the insurance  payments?  What if he or she gets into a wreck?  Most of these questions can't be answered with just any form of certainty, however the cost of your child’s car insurance can be well regulated.

Here are the few tips to help you keep the car insurance cheap for the young drivers.

1)    The Education for the Driver’s
In Some of the states, they will require drivers to take some form of driver’s education before they can receive their first license.  Most of the states however, do not require such courses.  Obtaining a driver’s license is a two-part course which will involve taking a bit of written exams over the basic traffic  regulations and a driving exam over the basic driving techniques.

Please note that While some of these can taught from  home, it is to your own benefit to have your child take driver’s education.  In most of the high schools, they offer driver’s education course as an elective or summer course.  There are also many other places which teach these courses privately, however these typically cost.  On the Either way, you will be saving some money in that long run because most insurance agencies offer do discounts to the students who have completed their driver’s education.

2)      Discount To Good Student
It is most likely  important to you (and hopefully to your child/ren) to maintain those good grades.  Beyond obvious benefits here is another: lower insurance rates.  If your son or daughter has a B average, thats (3.0), most of the  insurance companies will offer a discount of up to 15%.  This discount may apply for both the high school and the college students, so over the course of six to seven years this amounts to significant savings we have talked of.  When you are choosing an agent, , always make sure you research to see if they can offer the discounts for both high school and the college students.

3)      Driving Safety Measures
Finally and perhaps the most crucial, stress it to your teenager son or daughter about  the importance of driving safety measures.  Traffic violations rule (no matter how minor they can be) remember that accidents will only raise your insurance premiums.
If your child is very aware of the importance of safety and also try to keeps their driving record as clean, the insurance rates will remain always low.

Remember that having a driver’s licenses is a privilege.  This should be clearly stressed to your child as possible.  always Keep car insurance cheap for your young driver/s,  it is s a partnership between you and your child driver.  If you do that good job of communicating the need to be safe and to excel in school to your children and also making sure you enroll them in driver’s education., it will save you lots of  money, please let me know of your thoughts by leaving a comment below.
